Monthly
- Check the inverter display/app for error codes and normal daily generation.
- Glance at panels for bird droppings or new shade (growing trees!).
Quarterly
- Clean panels with plain water and a soft brush at dawn or dusk — never cold water on hot glass at noon.
- Inspect visible wiring for UV damage and tight conduit fittings.
Yearly
- Torque-check DC and AC connections (installer job).
- Test breakers and the changeover; verify earth connections.
- For lead-acid batteries: check terminals for corrosion and electrolyte levels.
Dusty regions of Punjab and Sindh may need monthly panel cleaning — a 10–15% yield difference in dry season.
