The Physics in One Paragraph

A panel’s voltage and current change with sun and temperature; maximum power lives at a moving “knee” point. MPPT continuously re-finds that point, while PWM simply drags the panel to battery voltage, wasting the difference.

Why Multiple MPPTs Matter

Rule of Thumb

One roof plane → one MPPT is fine. Two orientations or shading → insist on dual MPPT or more.
